This is an example for future groups…SATX Permaculture is the current best group to be involved with to meet fellow Aquaponic and TransFarming enthusiasts…or as we may call ourselves – ATF Geeks. ;o)
Welcome to The San Antonio Aquaponic and TransFarming Meetup Group, the largest Aquaponic and TransFarming group in San Antonio! This is THE place in San Antonio to learn about growing your own clean food in a sustainable way. We want to educate you and your family how to transform your backyard into a farmyard (TransFarm), while using our natural resources to their fullest potential.
If you first and foremost want to be active and educate yourself and your family about Aquaponics and TransFarming gardening techniques, to grow pesticide-free, organic food, then this is the venue for you and we welcome you to the group. We are lucky to have you find us and join!

Hello John Garcia, and again my apologies to you too for such a belated reply. Please see the above info and thanks for posting! I'll also post about duckweed or water lentils in some additional groups. With best regards!
Aquaponics is neat but still horribly input intensive, working with nature, you can set up natural system that require little to no inputs to produce explosive abundance.
Wow thanks Chris Lee, I just now notticed you posted here! Thank you! I also remember you have lots of knowledge about regernative practices, please check out the articles and if you have anything to share please feel free to do so and/or let us know and we’d be happy to post a feature article about anything you care to share and provide links to anything you like to give you credit and generate business for you if that’s what you do for a living.
Shenaz, a liable source just posted, “A group does a demonstration at both Rainbow Gardens in the spring. It hasn't frozen yet so the demo unit at the Thousand Oaks Rainbow Gardens should still be active."
